Start sitting with your injured leg resting on a half foam roll underneath your knee.

Contract your quads, straightening your leg so that your heel comes off the ground. Lower to a light heel touch on the ground before repeating the lift.

Try to avoid lifting your whole leg to separate your heel from the ground.
